Exhibitors Guidance Notes
How to Display Exhibits on Show Day
- You will need to buy a catalogue from the gate stewards.
- Inside the catalogue you will find your name next to a number in the classes you have entered.
- Inside the exhibit tents you find a corresponding number. Place your exhibit next to that number.
- Tents close at 10am for judging. Exhibits must be in place and cars off the field by then. If you have entered in several classes leave plenty of time to get your exhibits in place.
How to Collect Exhibits at End of Show
- Exhibits can be removed from the tents after 4.30pm. No exhibit will be allowed to leave the tents before this time except with permission from the secretary.
How to Collect Prizes and Cups
- If you have won a prize, including cups, there will be a prize card with a tear off portion beside your exhibit. Take the prize card to the Secretary’s tent anytime between 3.00-5.30pm.
- Cups requiring engraving will be engraved on site and will be ready for collection by 5.30pm.
- Prizes for sheep, sheep dogs, tractors, children’s sports and fancy dress are given by the steward at the time of judging.
- Fell Race prizes are available from the Fell Race Tent near the race start point.
How to Return Cups
- Cups must be returned, cleaned and polished, and returned to the Village Hall on Show Day before 10.00am.
